Jens Pilgaard
Hi, my name is Jens Pilgaard and I was born in Denmark in 1954 where I still live today. I have been tying flies since 1986 but only classics since around 1994. I am the owner of a shop called Fugl & Fjer Fluebinding which means "Bird & Feather Flytying" in Danish. I deal in rare feathers and other flytying materials to flytiers all over the world and besides that I make handforged knives, medieval weapons and Viking jewerly. During the summer I run a small flyfishing class of my own up in Norway.
