I was asked to dress a Fly by Lord Antrim's Estate Based on the colours of their Family Tartan. The Body of this fly is based on the Tartan of The Clan McDonnell, with its crossing Ribs to give it a Tartan feel.

Tag:    Flat Sliver.
Tail:    Golden pheasant topping.
Butt:    Black ostrich herl.
Body:    Blue floss.
Ribs:    Red & emerald green floss or flat tinsel passing over each other.
Throat:    Paired blue jay feathers with jungle cock sides dressed as wings.
Wing:    Paired jay feathers sides with jungle cock & golden pheasant topping over.
Head:    Black.
