I was asked to Dress this Fly By Lord Antrim about six years ago for Glenarm Castle in Co. Antrim. His Grandfather fished a Blue & Yellow Salmon fly on there River The Glenarm the pattern was lost so I came up with this. They are from the Clan McDonnell and I also Dressed a Salmon Fly based on there Clan Tartan.

Tag:    Flat silver tinsel.
Tail:    Golden pheasant topping & barred summer duck.
Butt:    Black ostrich herl.
Body:    Blue floss with a oval silver tinsel rib.
Body Hackle:    Kingfisher blue or teal blue.
Throat:    Blue gallina.
Wing:    Paired golden pheasant tippets with married blue & yellow swan or goose veiled with barred summer duck or barred teal with a jungle cock cheek & golden pheasant topping over all.
